"Strangers" is my first attempt at tackling some of my severe and genuine family trauma. This film is a reaction to events in my life that have happened right before my eyes. "How do you tell someone you love that it's time for you to let go?" This story is based on my mother, sister, and myself, not said word for word, but the film's essence rings true. I have struggled with mental health and depression for a long time, and this film was a challenge for me personally to try and replicate feelings on screen.

This film at first started very differently from what it is now, and the reason it is the way it is now is that I was asked by a dear friend of mine to look deeper into myself as an artist and think about what is genuinely me. This film is me trying to bring those feelings out, and the content might not be easy to watch, but I ask anyone watching this film: Have you ever felt like a stranger in your own home? Especially with the people you love.
